Prior to joining the financial services industry, Brandon was a research scientist and engineer, having studied and worked overseas at a number of research institutions in the USA, France and Germany.  Brandon returned to Adelaide and spent a number of years at Sola Optical, both in R&D as a Research Scientist and in manufacturing, as a Project Manager.

Brandon took the opportunity to change careers in March 2004 and entered the financial planning industry as a paraplanner in a small financial planning practice.  He joined Edwards Marshall Financial Solutions in November 2005 and became an Authorised Representative of Lonsdale Financial Group Ltd in June 2006.

Brandon qualified as a Certified Financial Planner™ in January 2009 and placed in the Top 10 in Australia for the Financial Review Smart Investor MasterClass for Financial Planning 2009.

Brandon is a qualified financial adviser.  Brandon aims to maximise financial advantages for clients through tax planning, superannuation strategies, Centrelink eligibility, fee minimisation and anything else he can think of!  He enjoys obtaining financial benefits for clients almost as much as the clients do themselves!
