Employment History
Commenced employment with Edwards Marshall in January 2000.
Prior to Karen's commencement, Karen previously worked in public practice for Warnecke & Co, Chartered Accountants.
Karen was appointed as Manager in the Business Consulting Services division of Edwards Marshall in July 2002 and in July 2010 she was promoted to Senior Manager.
Karen has over ten years experience in the provision of taxation and accounting services to small and medium sized businesses and professional clients.
She has experience with:
- preparation of financial statements, income tax returns and fringe benefits tax returns for all types of entities being small to medium sized businesses and group structures.
- preparation of Business Activity Statements and provision of GST advice.
- preparation and implementation of group restructuring.
- preparation of budgets and cash flow forecasts for small and medium businesses.
- preparation of monthly reporting systems and procedures for small to medium sized businesses.
Specialist Areas
Karen has extensive experience with the installation, training and use of Quickbooks and MYOB software packages.
